I got some liquid liner but, i can never get it on right! I want that nice smooth thin line but my hands are so shakey and i cant see well or keep my eye from twitching lol! Any advice? How do you do it?

I need help with getting my eyeliner smooth. It's not that I don't know technique, but that my skin is aging. I'm 40 years old and the eyelid skin is getting loose. So no matter what I do my eyeliner skips and I have to go over it a million times and even then it's not perfect. Liquid is a lost cause now but even gels are difficult. ( Why in the world can I not put on eyeliner )

So I've always had extreme issues getting my eyeliner to look all cat-eye perfect, and today I finally figured out why. I have a sort of fold/crease that is parallel to the top lid of my eye, between my lids and my eyebrows, which most people have, yes, but mine goes all the way to the outer corner of my eye. for those of you who wear liquid liner on your top liquids when your going for a simple make up look (no eyeshadow, maybe just some white shimmer on your browbone) it helps to use some eyeshadow primer like loreal decrease or urban decay prime potion. i started doing this last week and i noticed my eyeliner stays on longer. just a helpful make up ( Read more... )

for those of you that use liner on the top... do you put eyeshadow first and THEN eyeliner, or eyeliner first and shadow second? whats the best or easiest way so that neither one gets f'd up?
